Solar Power Your Home, Not Your Skin

!±8± Solar Power Your Home, Not Your Skin

Solar power is a massive industry today. You can buy kits to make your own solar panels for your home and some people are trying to go completely off the grid so they no longer have to purchase electricity from public providers at all. You can even purchase solar kits for your RV to give your generator a rest when parked at a campsite.

The sun is definitely proving to be a tremendous value for our daily lives, but there is one thing you will never find on the market: a solar power kit for the human body. We need the energy given off by the sun for many things, but it is not a good thing for human skin. This is why you need to keep the sun where it belongs and protect your skin.

Sunlight of Death

Most people find that the energy from the sun kills rather than energizing the skin. We have all had sunburn at least once in our lifetime and we all know that burning the skin contributes to early aging and can lead to skin cancer in the future. What most people do not realize is that rays from the sun are damaging even if you aren't in your bathing suit laying out on the beach or enjoying a romp in the swimming pool.

Sunlight is damaging your skin when you park your car and walk across the lot to work. Sunlight damages your skin when you take a walk around the block on an overcast day. If it's daylight out and you go outdoors with any exposed skin, you are contributing just a little more to the premature aging of your skin.

Sunlight brings life and light to your home and allows the flowers to bloom so you can look at their beauty, but it stands in the way of beauty for your skin. This is why it is so important to keep the sun where it belongs and protect your skin at all times.

Turning Back Time

Now that you understand how the sun can damage your skin more and more over the years, it's time to learn about a very simple procedure that can turn back that damage. You probably spent your younger years sunning for that dark complexion like most other people and today you are paying for it. You probably haven't worn sun block as consistently as you should have and now you are seeing your skin's health erode in unpleasant ways.

This is where IPL comes into the picture. This is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that sprays light over the skin. When this light gets down to the deeper layers of the skin it turns to heat and overcomes damage to the skin. The results are similar to what you get from a chemical peel, but you don't have the pain, redness and swelling that comes after a chemical peel.

You may not have properly protected your skin from the sun when you were younger, but there is no reason to live with sun damaged skin today. The IPL procedure can rejuvenate the skin so it is much healthier and has that healthy glow you remember from your younger years. If you have redness or other discoloration on the skin, moles or freckles from the sun, it can all be turned around with IPL.
